- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 25g butter
- 100g fresh breadcrumbs
- 600ml Greyleys Jersey Milk
- Grated nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the onions and lightly cook until softened but not brown.
- Add the breadcrumbs and stir well.
- Add the milk, and cook over a medium heat until thickened, stirring regularly.
- Add nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste.
