Bread Sauce

Enjoy bread sauce made with Greyleys Jersey Milk


  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 25g butter
  • 100g fresh breadcrumbs
  • 600ml Greyleys Jersey Milk
  • Grated nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the onions and lightly cook until softened but not brown.
  2. Add the breadcrumbs and stir well.
  3. Add the milk, and cook over a medium heat until thickened, stirring regularly.
  4. Add nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste.
